CAST
Francesca Harper - MARGRET Fran was the first person to be cast in the production, due to the fact that she was at one point in time, a close friend of Cordelia Williams, the original writer of the film. To Milo, she was an obvious choice. She took the role with the intent to pay tribute to her late friend, and give her story the respect and care that it deserved. Francesca's performance as Margret gives the film its emotional core. She fully achieved her goal in portraying her as a complex, deeply troubled human being. However the experience was not perfect. She would frequently argue with Milo about his directing chocies and various other creative differences. As time went on, her view of the film only worsened. To the point where during its first public screening, she walked out of the theater 15 minutes in. This was the last time any of the cast members saw her. She spent the rest of her life in Michigan raising her family. Fun Fact! The condition Margret has within the film is physically impossible! Though flesh & organ preservation has come a long way since 1963, there would be no possible way to exist with her condition. |

Kurtis Matthews - THOMAS | |
Kurtis Matthews - THOMAS Following his death in 1954, Kurtis entered the world of film through unconventional means. He was discovered in New York by a casting director searching for the potential star in a brand new English adaptation of the French play "Cyrano De Bergerac". Kurtis was chosen to play Cyrano, and spent 2 years in France working on the film alongside a variety of actors from across Europe. When filming concluded, Kurtis returned home to America to star in another film, directed by his old friend, Milo Williams. As many know, this ill-fated adaptation of Cyrano was infamous for all of its footage being intentionally destroyed by a rogue editor before it could be released. By the time Kurtis learned of this disaster, filming was already underway for Anatomy. He believed it was his last shot at having a career. Anatomy remains his only existing major screen credit. |

Alexander North - EDGAR Alexander was an American actor who predominantly worked in genre films of the mid 1960s. This included minor roles in Roger Corman productions, as well as a prolific stage acting career. He seemingly left the film industry for good in around 1981 to pursue professional theater full time. Anatomy 1963 features Alexander's first screen appearance, as he was discovered by Milo after he saw him in a production of "The Philadelphia Story". Alexander loved working on the film, and viewed it as an important step in his life as a performer. |

Nora Elizabeth Russel - THE ANGEL Not much is known about the life of Nora Russel. What we can say for certain is that Anatomy was the only film she ever acted in, and that she passed away at the age of 35 in 1978 via suicide. It is speculated that her involvement in a local cult organization heavily influenced her decision, but concrete information about her life is still very difficult to come by. Researching Nora has been a painful and deeply saddening process for the team, but we will do everything within our power to properly preserve her performance in this film with respect and admiration. Her performance as the illusive, sinister Angel is profoundly intriguing. |
